Ground rules

  • Articles should be written with a professional tone, similar to, but not as anal as, Wikipedia. Write neutrally; don't say, for instance, that Ransai controllers never get sent out because Random spends your deposit on hookers and blow without giving the "other side" of the story.
  • Do not completely destroy or vandalize a page unless it is your own. Edit it and make it funny. But don't fill it with spam or completely replace it.
  • No articles about users, unless they are historically important to #bemaniso. Leave that shit for namespace articles. (user:Chris for example) rofl who cares. The wiki is mostly for fun and honestly, our community is so large that it's hard to say who is and isn't historically important to #bemaniso or the bemani community. Just don't completely deface other people's pages, but don't have an edit war when somebody goes and puts in some negative comments about you in your page. EXPECT some changes for the negative about you.
  • Anyone caught breaking rules (remember, this is a wiki, anyone can look at the history) will have their editing privileges removed, and probably IP banned from editing as well.
  • Take it easy. It's better to have the occasional non-professional article than to be anal pricks.

#bemaniso news

  • The wiki is back! Jouva is your new overlord head admin of the wiki. If you have any questions about the wiki, feel free to ask him.
  • An effort has begun to make a song database on the wiki for various forms of bemani. Your help is definitely encouraged if you can provide it.
  • When creating new articles, please categorize them as you see fit. This will help to organize articles and keep things tidy here. If a category does not exist, and it's broad enough to be used in other articles, please feel free to make the category yourself.

Please check the Community Portal for what needs to be done. Any help is highly appreciated!
